Olivia, I listened to your new podcast episode and thought about how I often feel the same!

Since I finished your course, I have gained new experience communicating in English at work.

And I feel so much more comfortable speaking. This week, I was in the Czech Republic. I had been so scared to give the team there an introduction to our new program. 

 

I had some negative voices in my head, but I ignored them, just like Rebecca, your podcast guest, and it went well.

 

Also, I want to let you know that I´m starting a new job at my company on the 1st of September.

The new job title is “Product Lifecycle Data Engineer”. I’m taking on more responsibility and a larger role in our global systems. I´m really looking forward to it, even though I know I´m not perfect at English. But I‘ll handle the challenges head-on, and that’s good enough.

This is such a useful course, not only for engineers, but for everybody who wants to play a significant role in a company meeting, not only in English, but in any other language than your mother language. This course is not about learning a specific vocabulary, it gave me a lot of tips and tricks coming to the next level.

I've taken various types of English classes at Marcode and look back on enjoyable and informative lessons. My English skills have noticeably improved. I was able to direct the lessons myself, which meant they were well-suited to my needs.

For the first time, I decided to try English lessons without any preparation in advance. I simply allowed myself to relax and see what would happen. And honestly, the result exceeded all my expectations.

Lessons with Olivia are truly enjoyable. They’re engaging, lively, sometimes funny, and filled with thoughtful, unexpected questions that make you think, reflect, share opinions, laugh, and even (in a good way) debate.

I could feel how words that used to sit quietly in my passive vocabulary started coming to the surface naturally and I’m sure I can now use them comfortably in real conversations.

Olivia is a true professional who knows how to create a safe, supportive, yet intellectually stimulating atmosphere.

Olivia is a great English teacher! I enjoyed my sessions with her. Her approach is really different from that of more traditional English teachers.

The lessons I had with Olivia were excellent, no traditional lessons, but a group course with fun atmosphere, with great examples and great cultural experience, I recommend it!

I attended Olivia's Technical English Group Course. Working with Olivia and the other group members was awesome. Olivia has an amazing talent for explaining „complicated stuff“easily and understandable. Furthermore, she created the course very interesting and funny, I really felt comfortable. I look back on fun and educational lessons. My knowledge of the English language has noticeably improved.

Although I've even studied at the TU Delft in English, I never really felt confident when speaking English. I immediately clicked with Olivia, so during the lessons we also had fun! What I also appreciated was the advice she gave me when doubted whether I should take her shorter or longer trajectory. Olivia advised me to take 'The 25 minutes', the shorter one. For 10 weeks, we met for 25 minutes. One specific topic per lesson. I can definitely say that my confidence went up. Yes, I can still improve my pronunciation, but I can also just do me! Thanks, Olivia!

I am in regular contact with customers. As a result of Olivia’s tutoring, my confidence grew, and therefore our customer service significantly improved.
